Sem probal razne 'VIN decoder'-je, pa nekak ne štima...

Sem pa ugotovil, je zadeva starejša od 1993, ker ima vplinjač - Swift 1.3 od 1993 dalje pa ima EFI.

Pravkar dobil info, da bi avto naj bil letnik 1989...

Št. šasije pa je očitno tipizirana samo do neke mere...

O VIN-u na Wikipedii med drugim piše tudi tole:

One consistent element of the VIS is the 10th digit, which is required (in North America) to encode the model year of the vehicle. Besides the three letters that are not allowed in the VIN itself (I, O and Q), the letters U and Z and the digit 0 are not used for the model year code. Note that the year code can be the calendar year in which a vehicle is built,[citation needed] or a model or type year allocated by the manufacturer

Torej 'model year' ni obvezen povsod...
