Q: How accurate are the performance test times?

A: According to our experience, GPS suits much better for lap timing than performance tests. Performance testing has a problem with standing starts and most consumer Bluetooth GPS receivers. In addition to slight inaccuracy due to receiver’s refresh rate, a standing start estimation can be half a second too late, due to “static navigation” feature in most GPS devices. This means your test results might be too fast if your receiver has static navigation. Tests with flying start work much better, for example the 80-120 km/h test. In performance testing GPS-signal is very important. Unfortunately it is very difficult to detect bad signal in performance testing, other than inspecting the sensibility of the results and the graphs. We are constantly developing the features to ease the situation.

100-200 po racechrono je blo - 22s

Če sm šu pa po ta istmu gps-u umert 100 in 200.. pa pol zmeru od 110 (realnih 100) po števcu do 220 (realnih 200) je blo pa ene 7s manj. Odvisno od runa.

0-100 sm mel po racechrono 7s

0-110 (po števcu - realnih 100) je blo pa v resnici med 5.1 in 5.5s. :P

RaceChrono supports the internal GPS on some phone models, but unfortunately the accuracy of RaceChrono suffers quite a bit when used with the current internal receivers.

The lap timing accuracy with an internal GPS can sometimes be relatively good, but a good external Bluetooth GPS is recommended for frequent track day use. One of the best receivers currently is the QSTARZ BT-Q818 eXtreme!

RaceChrono team does not recommend using the internal GPS for Performance testing!

maš prav ja, jaz sem imel srečo in sem dobil na posojo ravno tega QSTARZ eXtreme, sedaj ga malo testiram in zaenkrat kaže da dela ok

Danci, ti jaz ob priliki prinesem enega, ki mi hodi viska...

Evo, dobil Qstarz BT-Q818X. Zadeva dobro dela, sprejemnik je dejansko občutljiv (še v hiši je sprejemal 4 satelite), odziva se zelo hitro...

Da ne bi sklopka preveč trpela, pa sem si 'izmislil' test 40-100km/h, tako da lahko normalno speljem in potem samo v 1. pohodim gas in 2x menjam. Prvi in (do zdaj) edini rezultat je 8,8s (zjutraj na poti v službo pač ni bilo prostora za več poskusov)...

Ja obvezen je zunanji Gps 5Mhz ,seveda če hočeš priti do natančnejših meritev.Drugače se meni zdi kar uporaben program ,za občasne meritve.Kasneje ga pa lahko dodaš še na video,res pa je da je potem malo težje sinhronizirat video in meritev.

Kako se pa lahko naredi kaj takega?
Mislim samo overlay s časom, hitrostjo, G-metrom in tlorisom steze.
