Boyd Coddington RIP

August 28, 1944 – February 27, 2008

He died on February 27, 2008. The cause of death has not yet been officially released, though. Coddington had been hospitalized shortly after the 2007/2008 holiday season. He was discharged but complained of continuing complications and was readmitted to a hospital near his home (Presbyterian Intercommunity Hospital in suburban Whittier.) There doctors made a diagnosis and he was rushed to surgery. Dates, treatment and diagnoses have not been reported at this time. There are numerous theories about the cause of his death, the continuing symptoms and the surgery, but no hard facts have come to light as of February 27, 2008, 8 pm Mountain DST.

Je tudi nazorno parkrat povedal v oddaji, da ga ne mara. Kdor koli se je s Foose-om spečal, je letel iz službe.

Jaz samo upam, da ne bo podjetje splavalo po vodi in, da bodo dobili odličnega naslednika.

In 1998, with Hot Rods by Boyd facing bankruptcy, Foose left his position and with his wife Lynne started his own automotive and product design company called Foose Design in Huntington Beach, California.Foose's departure from Boyd's was not an amicable one as in a 2006 interview, Foose stated: "Boyd has chosen to not have any relations with me, since I stopped working at his shop."
